New 550 staff office for Public Health Wales, a division of NHS.
ARTArchitects co-designed this project with sustainable office refurb specialists Rype Office and recycled-carpet social enterprise Green Stream Flooring.

November 2016:

Opening night of the new Spanish Tapas Bar / Restaurant, Brindisa, in Shoreditch. ARTArchitects collaborated with brand design company Creative Family and gained a planning approval for this renovation project in the South Shoreditch Conservation Area, Hackney, London. 

November 2016:

We are exhibiting our works at Design Festival Luton & Beds 2016. The festival will celebrate design disciplines across the county. Under the concept of Local Cosmopolitanism, designers from schools, colleges and the University of Bedfordshire, as well as practicing local designers with established practices, will showcase work to promote the cultural richness Bedfordshire has to offer.

October 2016:

Our project in Borehamwood, a single storey full-width extension, has been approved by Hertsmere Borough Council.  Construction is expected to start early next year.

Nearing completion! ARTARCHITECTS have teamed up with sustainable office refurb specialists Rype Office and recycle carpet social enterprise Green Stream Flooring for Public Health Wales's New HQ office fit out. Rumoured to be the biggest commercial fit-out in Wales this year, the project covers 4 floors of high-spec office space incorporating innovative new team work station designs to create a healthy working environment with a very low carbon footprint. The project is a showcase of our shared capabilities in a wonderful building with views out over Cardiff Bay.

 

September 2016:

ARTARCHITECTS has been appointed to design substantial renovation and conversion of a Victorian terrace house in the heart of the Primrose Hill Conservation Area, London.  The proposed fully glazed new facade will transform the existing courtyard into a space with full of natural light.

 

August 2016:

Pro Bono: ARTARCHITECTS has collaborated with construction firm Higgins to create an addition to this nursery playground in central St Albans. Children at the nursery can now watch cranes and diggers working on the adjacent construction site through the special 'bubble' windows. They can also make big drawings on new blackboard wall that faces onto their playground.  

July 2016:

Major structural alteration works are underway at this site in the St Albans Conservation Area. The works will maximise the volume of the interior living/dining space and provide uninterrupted access to the rear garden.

July 2016:

ARTARCHITECTS has won planning approval for a new wrap-around extension in Muswell Hill, North London. The carefully considered design has been proposed in a sensitive residential environment.

May 2016:

Dr Alex Veal RIBA AABC of ARTARCHITECTS is a qualified Conservation Architect and Quinquennial Inspecting Architect in the Diocese of London. We have recently completed the Quinquennial Inspection of St John the Evangelist Church in Brownswood Park. ARTARCHITECTS has gained Planning approval for a new wrap-around extension in the heart of the St Albans Conservation Area. The carefully considered design, and high-quality Planning submission, have succeeded in meeting the client’s aims, whilst sensitively integrating the new building with the surrounding historic fabric.

ARTARCHITECTS has begun work on site on the full contemporary refurbishment and extension of a period family home in the centre of the St Albans Conservation Area. Work is due to finish in October 2016.
