We are pleased to announce that ARTArchitects has recently been appointed for the restoration of the tower and internal reordering works at St Andrew's Church, Barnsbury. The building was constructed in 1854 and is Grade II* listed.

September 2017:

We are pleased to announce that ARTArchitects has recently been appointed to carrying out the Quinquennial Inspection of All Saints Church, Fulham.

September 2017:

ARTArchitects has won another Planning permission and Listed Building consent for the alteration and extension of Grade II listed Arts & Craft House in Hampstead Garden Suburb.

September 2017:

Applying the finishing touches to our project in Borehamwood. Looks stunning and we are very pleased with the outcome. Looking forward to uploading more pictures soon.

August 2017:

We have recently been appointed to carry out the Quinquennial Inspection of St George, Tufnell Park. We are very excited to be involved in the conservation of this modern church, built in 1972. 
 

May 2017:

ARTArchitects has been appointed to design a two-storey rear and side extension to a detached family home in Harrow. We are hoping to submit a planning application very soon. 

May 2017:

ARTArchitects gained planning permission for another exciting proposal in the St Albans Conservation Area. 
This project consists of broadening the house's rear extension, and re-configuring the internal spaces.

Dr Alex Veal RIBA AABC of ARTArchitects is a qualified Conservation Architect and Quinquennial Inspecting Architect in the Diocese of London. We have recently been appointed to carry out the Quinquennial Inspection of St Pancras Old Church, one of London's oldest sites of Christian Worship.

The steel is up!

Thanks to the spring weather, our project in Borehamwood is progressing rapidly. Installation of he main steel beam spanning 8m was completed successfully.  We are hoping to complete the construction work this summer.

April 2017:

 

ARTArchitects held a very successful public consultation with Bunker Self-Build Housing Co-op in Brighton last week.

The design development is progressing very well and we are hoping to submit a planning application soon.

March 2017:

ARTArchietcts is recruiting.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Part 2 Architectural Assistant or recently-qualified Architect to join our expanding practice. 

Experience of work in the residential sector and an interest in building conservation would be advantageous. Good written and spoken English are essential. We use Microstation and Adobe suite, as well as NBS specification-writing tools, so experience of these software packages would be useful. 

 

This is an exciting time to join the practice, and we can offer good opportunities to develop practical job-running experience and career progression towards Part 3 and beyond in a friendly, supportive environment.

Completion!
Our project in the heart of the St. Albans Conservation Area is now completed. Fantastic outcome and finishes.
We are so grateful to be involved in such a wonderful project. Big thank you to our client and the contractor Vincent and his team.

February 2017:

ARTArchitects has been appointed to design a new basement and extension of a substantial Victorian house in Hampstead, London. The study model shows how the new internal spaces have been created, whilst maintaining the striking silhouette of the original house. 

 

February 2017:

ARTArchitects has been appointed to design the extension and renovation of a semi-detached Arts & Crafts house in the Hampstead Garden Suburb Conservation Area. The building was designed by B. Parker and R. Unwin, and is Grade II listed
