August 2019:

HERTFORDSHIRE DESIGN REVIEW PANEL

We are very excited to be appointed as a member of the Hertfordshire Design Review Panel.

The Hertfordshire Design Review Service provides an independent and impartial process for evaluating the design quality and sustainability of development proposals in Hertfordshire.

 

August 2019:

Project Completion.

Two-storey side and rear extension project has been completed. A big thank you to our client , all the design team and contractors for their great teamwork and the fantastic outcome.

 

July 2019:

We are working on a new domestic extension project in St Albans Conservation Area. 

 

July 2019:

ARTArchitects has won Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for the restoration of a Grade II listed Enfield Grammar School

 

April 2019:

ARTArchitects has successfully secured Condition Improvement Funds (CIF) for two major projects at Enfield Grammar School.  We provided a robust and affordable strategy for the maintenance of the property and its future development. The project is due to be completed in the spring of 2020.

February 2019:

We are delighted to announce that our loft conversion project in Hampstead has been completed. More images will be uploaded soon.

 

January 2019:

We are very excited about the outcome of our basement extension project in North London.  The proposed double height conservatory brings lots of natural light into the expanded basement space. The project is expected to be completed in February 2019.

ARTArchitects was shortlisted for the invited competition to resolve complex issue for St Peter upon Cornhill, Grade I listed church designed by

Sir Christopher Wren.

October 2018:

ARTArchitects was awarded 'commendation' for this intriguing competition to find new uses for St Martin’s Church, a beautiful Grade II* listed building in Brighton.

We are developing colour schemes for 

re-decoration of St James's Islington. 

February 2018:

St Pancras Old Church is Grade II* listed and on Historic England’s Heritage at Risk Register due to significant structural defects. ARTArchitects is developing architectural proposals for the necessary repair works and alterations to the existing Parish Room. The aim of these works is to improve visitor engagement with the site’s heritage, and to ensure that the building is fit for purpose as a place of worship.

January 2018:

We are pleased to announce that Dr Alex Veal of ARTArchitects has recently been appointed as Quinquennial Inspector to St Bride's Church, Fleet Street, in the City of London. St Bride's is a Grade I listed building, designed by Sir Christopher Wren. It is the second tallest of all the Wren churches, with only St Paul's having a higher pinnacle.

January 2018:

ARTArchitects has won Planning permission and Listed Building consent for the alteration and improvement of a Grade II listed house in Hampstead Garden Suburb.
